Stunning Restaurant Décor – Bar Palladio Jaipur

We’ve got some serious décor inspiration for you today.  Hollie came across this restaurant and cocktail bar on Instagram and immediately sent it over to me with ‘O.M.G.’ in the subject line!  So of course, we just had to find out more and share it with you.

East meets west in spectacular style at Bar Palladio Jaipur to create a luxurious and out of this world orientalist fantasy.  Combine the stunning restaurant décor with the best in Italian cuisine and you have a wonderful setting for a luxurious holiday retreat. Inspired by Caffe Florian and Harry’s bar in Venice, and named after Renaissance architect Andrea Palladio, the restaurant is the brainchild of Italian, Barbara Miolini. Located within the grounds of historic Narain Niwas Palace Hotel, the Bar Palladio is home to the best of Indian craftsmanship for which Jaipur is famed. Dutch fashion designer Marie-Anne Oudejans, a resident of the Narain Niwas Hotel, was inspired by the opulent lifestyle of the maharajas of the early 20th century, to create a magnificent garden belvedere with tented canopies, mature mango trees and wandering peacocks.

Caffe Palladio Jaipur is another of Barbara Miolini’s dream places where east meets west, but this time it’s the cuisine of Sicily that is celebrated within a marbled terrace with mirrored and painted walls in a peachy hue, with verdant gardens filled with orange blossom.

Oh, this place is absolutely amazing, the colours are beautiful and your photos are really good too. I’m always afraid of going into places like this, I feel like my jeans and trainers don’t fit in there

Isn’t it just! I know what you mean – I feel I need to up my style game a bit to do justice to surroundings like this. We haven’t been unfortunately, the photos are courtesy of the restaurant themselves, so we can’t take credit for those stunning pics!

  2. I see what you mean about your love for colour and pattern. My favourite is that blue sun room, what a vivid shade! And the details of the painted motifs on the wall.

  3. Can you imagine the warm light though of India, flooding these amazing rooms!? Wonderful as these colours are, they are so difficult to use in the UK, least not to this extent. The property is stunning throughout and I am so glad you shared these pictures!

  4. Keira says:

I am loving all shades of blue at the moment so I love the blue scheme you included here! I am normally drawn to softer hues but I agree that in India the warm light is perfect for these amazingly vibrant colour schemes
