As items are stored in a warehouse, they can sometimes get dusty unfortunately. We would recommend dusting your vase before use. As per the care instructions, we would not recommend washin g this vase, we recommend to wipe the outside with a soft, slightly damp cloth only. Wonderful Art Deco design, something we have been looking for a while now- Really great quality and arrived well packed and very quickly.

Normally very happy with Audenza’s products. However this one was a huge disappointment. It gets dusty easily on the ridges and if you try to clean it with a wet cloth or anti bacterial wipe, the colour comes straight off onto it the wipe / cloth. It is also not dishwasher safe which I learned the hard way. Put mine in the dishwasher and the green film (this isn’t green glass, it has been coated with something to have it appear green) has peeled off in large patches. Very disappointed to have spent £30 on a vase that didn’t even last 30 days.

Audenza replied: Thank you very much for your review, I’m incredibly sorry to hear of your disappointment with your vase. This vase is not dishwasher safe, in fact, we wouldn’t recommend washing vases in the dishwasher at all. Most vases are not finished in a way which makes them suitable to be washed so vigorously and at such high temperatures. Using antibacterial wipes, cleaning products or abrasive cloths is likely to damage the finish on the outside of the vase - we recommend dusting the outside with a lightly damp, soft cloth only. There should be care instructions included with the vase, which say to clean with a soft dry cl oth, though you may use a lightly damp cloth to dust the outside. Sadly with having used antibacterial wipes, that will have damaged the finish, which has led to even a damp cloth taking off the colour unfortunately. I’m very sorry if there was any confusion regarding the care instructions for this item, as well as the instructions included with the parcel, we have added additional information to the product page, so that this is clear prior to purchase. Not as it appeared in the picture. Colour totally different and gold band looked very cheap in real life.

With regards to the colour, when we edit photography for the website, we have the item next to us, to ensure the colour on the screen matches how the item looks in the flesh. However, every computer screen will show colours differently, so it’s unfortunately impossible for us to ensure an exact colour match, because it depends on your individual screen. When you receive an item, even the lighting/wall colour in the room that you place the item, can have an impact on the colour, particularly with a glass item such as this. We also make it clear on the product page that colours may vary. However, to be absolutely sure, we have re-checked the current batch of stock against the photos and feel that they are representative of the colour as on our screens. That said, we totally understand if the colour of the vase is not as you were hoping.

With regards to the gold band, again, as noted on the website, it is applied by hand and is therefore not a really snug fit - I am however so sorry that this is not the look you were hoping for. We try very hard with our pictures and description to give as much information as possible, however totally understand if you would prefer to return the vase for a full refund. I can see that you haven’t contacted us to arrange a return, so we will contact you today by email to discuss this with you. I gave 4 stars as the blue Isa vase was a bit dull blue in color unlike the color I wanted and saw online on their website. It's a beautiful vase but the color was not exactly as posted on the website.
